Dave Busch to Contribute to Company's Product and Market Strategies SANTA CLARA, Calif. - February 21, 2005 - SigmaQuest™ Inc., the enterprise software company whose solutions provide unprecedented insight and actionable information to ensure product and process integrity, by collecting, aggregating and analyzing test and quality data, announced today that Mr. Dave Busch is the newest member of its Board of Advisors.
Busch brings to SigmaQuest over twenty-five years of enterprise software experience in the areas of supply chain and factory automation. He is currently Strategic Marketing Director at Solectron, a leading global provider of electronics manufacturing and integrated supply chain services. At Solectron, Busch is responsible for the strategy, development, and execution of the Industrial, Medical, and Automotive market segment businesses. Prior to Solectron, Busch was at Timogen Systems where he was responsible for product strategy and management, product development, and strategic planning including the Shanghai Development Center. Prior to Timogen, he held executive positions at a wide range of high-profile enterprise software companies including BlackPearl, Vigilance, Oracle, and Wonderware. Additionally, he was a founder of Rapt, Inc. and Enatec. Busch began his high tech career at National Semiconductor and Hewlett-Packard where he started what has become HP's Finance & Remarketing Division, its most profitable business. He also initiated HP's foray into the university segment of the education market, where it is now dominant. Busch is known for his innovative product designs including the first Windows-based Manufacturing Execution System (MES) at Enatec, which was later acquired by Wonderware; Oracle's MES module that provided lot tracking and yield costing; Vigilance's real-time event management platform; and BlackPearl's novel dashboard "templates." He holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Management from San Jose State University and an M.B.A. in Operations Research from Santa Clara University.
