Former HP and i2 Executive Brings Extensive Experience in Enterprise Software and Hardware Product Management SANTA CLARA, Calif., July 22, 2003 – SigmaQuest, Inc, the leader in product performance intelligence, announced today that Aloke Bhandia has joined the company's board of advisors. Mr. Bhandia has over twenty years of experience in the high-tech industry with an emphasis on enterprise software and supplier relationship management. He brings to SigmaQuest a diverse blend of software product management and marketing, hardware product design and development, supplier and commodity management, semiconductor engineering, and business process consulting experience in companies such as Hewlett-Packard, i2 Technologies, National Semiconductor, and Commerce One.
Mr. Bhandia has developed strategies to market composite business solutions using web services standards and has also led the marketing for a product lifecycle management startup. At i2 Technologies he managed flagship products in Supplier Relationship Management. During his 15 years at Hewlett Packard, he held various engineering and management positions in R&D, strategic procurement and consulting including the position of Worldwide Corporate Procurement Manager. He received the Professional Excellence award from Purchasing Magazine during this period. Mr. Bhandia received a Resident Fellowship from Hewlett Packard in recognition of his outstanding contribution allowing him to earn his MS degree in Engineering Management from Stanford University. He also has MS degrees in Chemical Engineering and in Solid State Science & Technology from Syracuse University. As a member of the advisory board, Mr. Bhandia will work with other board members to assist the SigmaQuest team in setting corporate strategy and defining current and future product and application initiatives. “SigmaQuest continues to experience much positive change and growth.
